1, 2, 3, Mkay. 5, 6, 7, Mkay.

A decent weekend this week. Nothing too exciting, but generally fun. Friday night I hung out with Ms. Kizmo. We watched The Big Tease and ate a lot. Well, I ate a lot. She ate Doritos. We hung out and talked and I accidently left a fork in a bad spot and it fell off the table and stabbed her in the ear. Oops. I was in bed by 3 and up by 10:30.

Saturday I had a very lazy day. I watched 7 episodes of Buffy Season 6 (shut up!). I'm telling you, those two discs (discs 3 & 4) are the best Spike shows all captured on two dvds. It's not even fair that he is so hot. Sarah came over around 3:30 so I could french braid her hair, and then we headed out to my first Salsa class.

It was fun. There were way too few guys, but we managed. The studio had the air set on arctic blast, so even though I was moving about I was still icy cold the entire time. The teacher was alright. He was a big fan of South Park. I'm serious. He said "Mkay" every three or four words. He was Mkaying me to death. There were several things that sent me into giggles, like when he mentioned the rythm being like a heart beat (gagung) and when he kept saying "wax off". I know he meant it in The Karate Kid sense, but to me it just started sounding like "whacks off" and I couldn't stop laughing. The guys were all really good at leading via their right arms, but couldn't figure out that they needed to lock their left arms as well (Spaghetti arm?). After two hours, I finally figured out that I was back leading, but didn't care because you try doing turn after turn after turn with a guy who can't figure out where the beat is and can't remember how he's supposed to be holding his hand. Grrr... It was annoying. This girl gets more dizzy if the guy isn't doing his damn part! Oh well. I'm going to Sarah's class with her on Tuesday because she said the teacher was better and there were more guys. We'll see how that goes.

When I first started looking at the classes offered, I noticed a Zydeco class. I really considered signing up for that, but figured I'd start with Salsa because I have been wanting to learn that for a while. Saturday when our class ended, we walked through a Zydeco class still in session. SO FUN LOOKING! I'll definitely be taking that at some point.

Saturday night we went on the world's longest trek for Denny's. It was our own White Castle quest, although Doogie Howser wasn't involved. Afterwards, we headed to my place and I made Sarah watch The Fifth Element. I don't think she was impressed, but she let me watch the whole thing, which is more than I can say for myself and The Dark Crystal or whatever that crap movie was. Anyway, she headed home around 12:30 and I headed to bed.

Sunday was another lazy day. Movies and cleaning and reading. I talked to Denise (Hi Denise!) for the first time in AGES, and it was really nice to catch up. Her man is in Japan for the year, and it's nice to have someone to talk to that knows what it's like having your man live out of the country. I headed to Sarah's around 8 for "My Fair Brady" and "American Princess" (yay Michelle!), and then I headed home and crashed.

And now it's Monday. Again. Dammit.

I didn't hate it. It was just kinda... weird. I thought that blue thing was the fucked up monster from some other film with that guy from SVU that I think is hot and you think is creepy so I expected a whole different movie altogether and I so hope you know what I'm talking about. Mkay?

I LOVE the Fifth Element, but then again, I LOVE Bruce Willis.

And the blue thing was my favorite I think...I love the part where she's singing, but then again, that could just be me :)
